How it works
A real-time camera-to-display pipeline
VibraRays is being designed around a pipeline that captures the physical environment, transforms its appearance, and presents the modified view with minimal delay — while the world itself stays the basis of the experience.
- 1
Real world
You look at your actual surroundings — the same street, room or shoreline.
- 2
Stereo capture
Forward-facing cameras capture the scene for each eye.
- 3
Image processing
A low-latency pipeline analyzes and adjusts color, light and contrast.
- 4
VibraRays mode
Your chosen mode applies its signature transformation.
- 5
Display
The transformed view is presented through the eyewear displays.
- 6
Your view
You see the same world — extraordinarily vibrant.
What VibraRays does — and doesn't — do
It does
- • Amplify color, light, contrast and atmosphere
- • Keep the real geometry of your surroundings intact
- • Let you switch modes and intensity in real time
- • Return to a neutral view instantly (safety view)
It doesn't
- • Replace the world with a virtual environment
- • Invent scenery or hallucinate objects
- • Make medical or vision-correction claims
- • Require the internet to change your view
Semantic transforms (recoloring sky, water or foliage independently) are future capability and are not represented as operational today.
